"To calm fussy baby, I would put her in my sling and walk (to calm her) or RUN (to entertain her - this always makes her laugh.) around our kitchen-dining-living room circle. Over and over, around and around, and sometimes i keep showing her the same thing with each pass, talking either calmly (if walking) or excitedly (if running) depending on her mood and whether i want her to go to sleep.
